San Antonio Missions Tour
Sunday, November 13, 8:15 to 11:30 AM $30 per person
The legacy and history of San Antonio and this region began with a simple ceremony when in 1718 Franciscans and Spanish representatives established the first mission. Within 13 years, five were located along the San Antonio River. The missions’ purpose? To acculturate and Christianize the native population and make them Spanish citizens. Join us as we are led on a guided tour of the four remaining missions (includes the Alamo) along the San Antonio river, by experienced guides. We will meet in the Hotel lobby at 8:15 AM Sunday to board the TMS private tour bus. The tour will last 3 hours and return us to the lobby of the Menger Hotel at 11:30AM.
