Building on the success of the 2006 workshop, The Masonry Society, with financial support from several sponsoring organizations, will host a second International Workshop on Structural Design of Masonry in the Americas on May 17 and 18 immediately following TMS’s Spring Meeting in Cancun, Mexico. This workshop, like the first, is intended to continue efforts throughout our hemisphere to use masonry more effectively in meeting our shared needs for flexible, cost-effective and sustainable building inventory. The Workshop is approaching quickly, and this website is to serve as a form of communication with the participants. Information related to the workshop will be posted on this website so that participants can plan for the Workshop. In addition, presentations and other materials will be posted on this website following the Workshop. Additional information on the workshop is provided below, and will be updated frequently prior to the workshop. For additional information on the workshop, contact the facilitator, Dr. Richard E. Klingner, or the TMS office. To see the preliminary program, click here. |
The Hilton Cancun Golf and Spa Resort in tropical Cancun, Mexico will host the Workshop on May 17-18.
