Increasingly, environmental considerations are a part of the design process for buildings, and it is therefore vital that designers, contractors and manufacturers are aware of the attributes of materials and construction methods.  Attendees will learn about the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED^TM Rating System and the associated certification process. Presenters overview the Rating System, address LEED^TM credit categories, and identify how masonry products can contribute to LEED^TM credits. This presentation will give insight on the environmental building marketplace, as well as cover criteria and considerations used in selecting masonry products for LEED^TM projects.
