Mission:
Identify current engineering design practices and investigate methods of improving those practices.

Goals:
Identify and/or develop practices consistent with the design of efficient and reliable masonry components and structures.

Activities:
Identify needed research topics. Prepare design aids and details for proper use of masonry. Review third party computer-based design aids. Identify areas and topics where computer aids should be developed.
