Outstanding Student Thesis Awards

Description:
The Student Thesis Awards are presented annually to the best doctoral dissertation and master's thesis on masonry.

TMS is currently soliciting nominations for the best M.S. and Ph.D. theses on a masonry topic. Masters theses or reports will be considered that were submitted for degree requirements between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008.  Masters reports must be publicly available (referenceable) to be eligible. Ph.D. dissertations will be considered that were submitted for degree requirements between July 1, 2005 and June 30, 2008. Ph.D. dissertations submitted to TMS in the two previous years are still eligible and will be automatically considered without the need for resubmission.

Theses must be submitted to the TMS office (3970 Broadway, Suite 201-D, Boulder, CO 80304-1135) no later than June 30, 2008. Electronic submission of theses in pdf format is strongly encouraged. Otherwise, three copies of each thesis should be mailed directly to TMS.

Past recipients of TMS Thesis Awards are shown below next to the year they received the award.
