TMS creates new Clayford T. Grimm, P.E. Scholarship with family
First Award targeted at Master's Student to be given October, 2008

At the November 2007 meetings, The Masonry Society’s Board of Directors approved a recommendation from the Awards Committee to establish a Student Scholarship in memory of Tom Grimm who was a Founding Member and an Honorary Member of TMS, a noted author, teacher, and researcher, and a friend and mentor to many. Tom passed away in 2003 after a lifetime of service and achievement to the masonry industry.

This scholarship will be available to master’s degree students performing research in the field of masonry under the direction of a TMS Member. TMS is now accepting applications for a 2008 Scholarship, which will be presented on October 18 at TMS's Annual Meeting. Click here for details.

The family of Mr. Grimm and The Masonry Society is hoping to be able to present this award annually if sufficient donations are contributed to fund the award with earned interest. As such, if you wish to make a contribution to the fund, please send a check to The Masonry Society with a designation that your gift is for the Scholarship.
