Awards and Recognitions Presented during TMS's 2009
Annual Meeting
The support and contributions of TMS members are the
lifeblood of the Society and are responsible for the
success and growth of the Society. This year the
contributions of a number of members were very evident
and they were acknowledged during the Awards Luncheon.

TMS President Ray Miller recognized incoming and
continuing officers and board members (see related
article on Board Ballot Complete - New Members Elected).
Miller presented certificates of appreciation to
outgoing Board Members:
John Tawresey, Jim Harris,
John Myers, Terry Weigel, John Bufford, Rhett Whitlock,
Bill McEwen, Olene Bigelow, Gregg Borchelt, and Margaret
Thompson. Certificates of appreciation were also
presented to Craig Baltimore and Terry Weigel as
outgoing members of the
Technical Activities
Committee (TAC) and to Pat Rand as an outgoing
member of the Administrative Committee Team
Plaques of appreciation were presented to the following
chairmen completing their service: Pat Rand,
Sustainability Committee, Ron Hunsicker, Membership
Committee, and John Bufford, Financial Planning
Committee.
