Introduction and Disclaimer

The Masonry Society (TMS) receives numerous inquiries related to masonry design, construction, evaluation, and repair each week, oftentimes with requests for recommendations on consultants who can help them on their projects. Similarly, the Society also receives numerous requests for contacts to speakers having expertise on various aspects of masonry. Because it is inappropriate for TMS to recommend consultants and speakers, the Society has created this database of consultants and speakers having expertise in masonry for both its internal use as well as for use by others seeking advice, consultation, or expertise on masonry.

To develop this List, inquiries were sent out to both members and non-members of The Masonry Society through written and electronic media. A nominal fee was charged to consultants and speakers wishing to be listed in this database to defray development and maintenance of this website. Some qualified consultants and speakers elected not to be included in this database either because of the fee, or because of their own personal reasons. Therefore this database should not be considered as all-inclusive lists of masonry consultants and speakers, but rather as a list of those wishing to advertise themselves and their firms through this resource. The database should also not be used to qualify consultants and speakers nor to rate one consultant over another because of their listing.

Moreover, the information that was provided by each consultant and speaker has NOT been verified as accurate. While many of the consultants and speakers listed in this database are TMS members, the Society has not worked directly with all those listed and therefore can make no assessment of their ability or expertise. As such, The Masonry Society does not endorse consultants or speakers listed in this database. Users of this information are therefore cautioned to use the information at their own risk.

With those caveats, the Society is hopeful that this database will help those looking for guidance on masonry projects by putting them in touch with consultants and speakers that may be able to provide help.
