North American Masonry Conference
The North American Masonry
Conference (NAMC) is a forum for the exchange of scientific, engineering, architectural,
construction, evaluation, and repair informstion on masonry. The conference includes
technical papers and sessions, panel discussions, and other methods of information
exchange.
The conference is now held every four years (up through
the 8th NAMC in 1999 it was held every three years),
and the most recent NAMC, the 9th, was held in Clemson University from June 1-4, 2003. See
9th NAMC for additional details.
The 10th North
American Masonry Conference will be held in St. Louis, Missouri from June 3-6, 2007.

The 13th International Brick/Block
Masonry Conference will be held from July 4 to July 7, 2004 at the RAI International
Exhibition & Conference Centre in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The 13th IBmaC is
organized by the Eindhoven University of Technology under the direction of Professors Ir.
Arch Dirk Martens and Ir. Ad Vermeltfoort. For additional information on the conference

7th Australasian Masonry Conference
The 7th Australasian Masonry Conference
will be held from July 13 to July 16, 2004 at Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. The
conference is organized by the University of Newcastle, the Clay Brick and Paver
Institute, and the Concrete Masonry Association of Australia. Key faculty at the University
of Newcastle are Dr. Mark Masia, Discipline of Civil, Surveying and Environmental
Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, and Dean of Engineering, Adrian

10th Canadian Masonry
Symposium
Preparations are underway for the 10th Canadian Masonry Symposium which will be held at
the Banff Centre in the Canadian Rockies town of Banff, from June 8-12, 2005 under the
